It`s one more working day today, but…

Tomorrow it will be – Hello Cyprus! Hello wrong side of the road, left-hand`s struggle with transmission and hand-braking on the hills! :)

Something like that:
somebody like me (well okay that`s me)...

...watching something like that

That`s up from Paphos, west side of the island.

A little bit of Moscow weather

The previous week weather

This week weather

Good thing about the dull weather option – the reflection in the water was better :)) It actually was the reason to make it be photographed. And the trees are getting greener every day.

My way from my office to the French centre is across several bridges, which makes the route pretty picturesque. Enjoy :)

A little bit of Moscow traffic, by me

The centre of Moscow, the Kremlin wall and the Moskva river

Police everywhere. Cleaning ladies - sometimes

Cars, cars, cars, a big car and a church

Bike against traffic jam: the battle lost

Parked

Parked-2

To be parked

To be evacuated

To be enjoyed

Auntie Svetlana is here :)

Just visited my native town, known as Vladimir. Had to go there to collect some of my papers and just to show myself. The previous visit was in September (hmm...) when I was organizing my passport etc. And as it was half a year ago - my three-years old nephew has totally forgotten me. But this time we had quite a time together including two great activities:
- reading the books (see the photo);
- doing some biathlon - means running all over the apartment imitating people on skis with guns. I mean... you have an idea? But he knew the rules! :)) You run like you have skis on your feet, ski poles in your hands and a gun behind you back. Then you fall onto the floor, take off the gun and try to shoot with unexisting rifle, then get up and run again, and again. The task is to be the second after the boy :)

His name is Arseny which has some arsenic aspect if in English, but it is just a Russian name. An old one, but it appeares now and again. My brother is Artyom which was also quite rare in my/his childhood, but very popular now. As for me - am the wide spread Svetlana :)

As for the pictures... I have not discussed posting the pictures with him, so will show just this. It`s interesting that his eyes have red-eyes effect, but not mine.

My Eastern view

Just to make everybody feel envious... ha-ha-ha%)))

My Windows (c)

Breath-taking perspective, isn`t it? :) BTW we had a short storm yesterday, and something wrong happened with the tv-aerial on the roof, which made my landladies totally unhappy for the whole evening as they missed all their soap-operas.

As for me – I also failed yesterday. Looking pretty exhausted at the moment – which means not really pretty – my firm everyday decision is to go to bed as early as possible. Anything before midnight supposed to be okay. But yesterday I ended up watching some DVDs. And they were:
- “Faisons un reve” - which I watch a lot these days as I try to adapt it for Russian, based on the sub-titles, as no book available in whole Moscow. But yesterday I just wanted to watch it, I mean – just enjoy :)
- “Nelly et Mr.Arnaud” – which is possible to be called “a real French film”. A strange phrase which may give both positive and negative impression to different people. For example, I read recently that when the Taxi movie was advertised, the producers made a special effort not to mention the French aspect... Just a little bit of useless info here. The film was good by the way (Nelly et...).

Enough for today, as actually I was going just to boast with the photo :) Enjoy it!

I was in USA today :)

Really, but on the territory of the United States, as the embassy is the territory of the state it represents. I was quite deep in the corridors today (doubt I can boast about such things but nice and silly as I am...). It`s always interesting to see other people`s offices, no? There was another program presentation to be listened and questions to be asked. Those people also work with youth, developing entrepreneur ideas among kids (and I do believe it`s quite useful). A little bit of something different from my everyday routine.

No pictures today, as I was deprived of my camera (and even an absolutely unoffensive USB flash drive 512 Mb :)) well, the rules are the rules, no complains... :)

PS: the lady-speaker (Russian actually) had such a British accent! :) "Elle est anglaise, elle est tres anglaise" (c) :)))

Deep-deep orange

The duck is diving for money... no, just for food for its girlfriend, who is of a slightly different color and on the shore at the moment. All ducks I see now on the river - are in couples. Spring is all about that – creatures feel themselves alive, sexy and so on :)
